HARRISBURG, Pa. – Police have an arrest warrant for the suspect in the brutal beating of a Harrisburg woman. The incident happened at about 12:45 am at 7 row Hall Manor. The victim, a 30 year old hispanic woman, told police at the hospital emergency room, that she was beaten from head to toe with a hammer, closed fists and other items.

The attending doctors advised that the victim may have internal injuries due to the severity of the beating.

The victim identified 27 year old Fredrick Owens, as the person who attacked her. Owens is charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide and Aggravated Assault.  He was last seen driving a dark gray Chevrolet Traverse with Pa. registration JTX3264. Police think Owens may have traveled to the York area.
