YORK CITY, Pa.–Police arrested a 30-year-old man who is accused of inappropriately touching a 4-year-old boy at York Hospital on Thursday morning.
Tom D. Nguyen, of York, is charged with corruption of minors, indecent assault of an unconscious person and indecent assault on a person less than 13 years of age.
Officers responded to York Hospital around 10:40 a.m. Thursday for a report of a boy who had been sexually assaulted at the hospital.
A witness told police they witnessed Nguyen inappropriately touching the boy, who had been sedated prior to surgery, according to the affidavit.
Nguyen later admitted to having inappropriate contact with the boy while he was sedated, court paperwork states.
During an interview with police, Nguyen also confessed to having naked pictures of the victim on his phone.
He was arrested and taken to York County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 30.
