LANCASTER, Pa. – Two Lancaster City men, caught smoking marijuana in a parked car, are arrested on a list of charges including drug possession.
On Wednesday, August 12th at about 5:14 pm Officers William Hamby, Austin Krause and Adam Dommel were dispatched to the parking lot of 21 Garden Court for a complaint of individuals inside of a blue Lexus smoking marijuana.
Officers located the car and observed two men inside. Upon approaching the vehicle they could smell the obvious odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside. Officers also observed baggies of suspected marijuana on the passenger side floor of the vehicle.
The black semiautomatic handgun was identified as a Ruger P25 9mm, with a 30 round magazine. The weapon’s serial number.
The driver / owner of the Lexus was identified as Louandre Latiff Larue, 30, of the 1700 block of Judie Lane, Lancaster Township.
Larue does not posses a valid license to carry a firearm. Additional search of the vehicle led to the discovery of two small baggies of marijuana in the driver’s side door change pocket of the vehicle. Larue was charged with one count of Possession of Firearm with Altered Manufacturers Number , one count of Firearms not to be Carried Without a License, one count of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The passenger was identified as Robert Morant, 28, of the 500 block of South Lime Street.
Morant was charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Both men were held for arraignment. No bail info at this time. All persons accused of a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty.
