LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. – A Myerstown man faces charges after an argument escalates into an assault on two State Police Troopers.  The Troopers from the Jonestown barracks responded at 8 am to the home of Michael Anthony Graham, 51, in the 100 block of South Cherry Street.  Graham was reportedly engaged in a heated dispute with an electrical serviceman attempting to do his job.

Graham then began arguing with the troopers as well. As the argument continued Graham said to the troopers that he had nothing left to live for and that he was going to kill himself. He then began walking toward his home.

At that point the troopers decided to intervene for Graham’s own safety. They attempted to retrain him so that he could be psychologically evaluated. Graham was having none of that and hit one of the troopers and attempted to hit the other.

Graham was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault. Following arraignment he was released after posting $25,000 bail.
