LANCASTER, Pa.– Police have released the name of the man who was shot and killed in the city early Saturday morning.

26-year old Luis Santiago was killed after an argument with a suspect at a home at 812 E. Chestnut Street. Investigators are still conducting interviews and following leads to determine the nature of the argument and what occurred leading up to the shooting.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

A man was shot and killed in Lancaster early Saturday morning.

Police say around 3:00 a.m., a man was found unresponsive inside the first floor of 812 East Chestnut Street. He had been shot in the upper body. His name has not been released.

Investigators learned there was a party at the residence and that a verbal confrontation occurred between the victim and a suspect prior to the shooting. The investigation is in the early stages, but investigators are actively pursuing leads to determine what happened.
