MECHANICSBURG, Pa. - A memorial in York County remembers pets, both loved and lost.
A new piece to the 'Wall of Remembrance' was unveiled at the PA State Pet Memorial in Mechanicsburg.
The event was hosted by Peaceful Pet Passage, a pet end-of-life care company in South Central PA.
The wall displays over 6,000 names of beloved pets.
On Saturday, 900 more names were added to the granite structure.
Each name is laser-etched into the wall.
Former Governor, Tom Ridge, dedicated the site back in 1996.
Since then, it's been a place people can go for comfort.
At the unveiling, Representatives from Susquehanna Service Dogs were on hand, accepting donations to help support dog training to assist those living with disabilities.
