WASHINGTON, DC. – The Red Land Little League team which captured hearts and minds throughout the Commonwealth was recognized by the U.S. House and Senate in Washington, DC today. The team and coaches were welcomed to the nation’s capitol by local members of Pennsylvania’s Congressional delegation led by U.S. 4th District Representative Scott Perry(R).
Congressman Perry also gave a floor speech in the U.S. House and read a House resolution praising the team for its display of character and sportsmanship before a worldwide audience at the 2015 Little League World Series, in Williamsport. The team lost in the Little League World Series final to Japan.

The team was also presented a Senate resolution honoring their hard work and dedication by U.S. Senator’s Pat Toomey(R) and Bob Casey(D).
