LOWER PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa.--Police are investigating after a 15-year-old Dauphin County Vo-tech student was found Wednesday unconscious after being attacked at his bus stop in Lower Paxton Township.

The student told police he was standing at his bus stop at Fairmont Drive and Clover Road when he was knocked unconscious by a pipe-like object that was swung out of a window of a passing vehicle.

The suspects vehicle was described as a "metallic light blue sedan" and was occupied by at least two white males, according to police reports.

Another student arriving at the bus stop discovered the victim on the ground, investigators said.

The boy was initially taken to an urgent care facility before being transferred to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment. Police said the student suffered a serious neck injury.

Authorities believe this was a deliberate attack and not an accident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lower Paxton Township police at 717-657-5656.
