Hoping to make your vote in the Presidential primary matter more, some state lawmakers are pushing to move the date of next year’s primary from April 26th to March 15th. State Rep. Keith Greiner, from Lancaster, is the sponsor of this bill. He believes by moving the primary up the GOP nomination would still be up for grabs, making Pennsylvania an important state. This isn’t the first time government leaders have tried to change the primary date. Former Governor Ed Rendell once proposed moving the primary date, but the legislature did not show much interest.
