RED LION, Pa. – Holiday light displays and Christmas trees are popping up all across our area. The latest tree to be lit is one right in Red Lion. The tree stands in Fairmount Park all year round, but around the holidays, it’s strung with lights and lit for everyone to enjoy. Dozens of folks came out to see it shining bright.
“We offer up hot chocolate to everyone who comes out,” Organizer Eric Rabenstein, “we have Santa Claus for the kids to visit, talk to him and hand out candy canes and we light the tree as well that was planted i think three years ago specifically for this event.”
A local musician was also on hand playing live Christmas music to entertain the crowd.
