LANCASTER, Pa- Columbia Borough Police are on the scene of an incident, which originally came in as a stabbing, along the 200 block of Union Street in Lancaster City.
Officer Troy Engle says two juveniles were inside the house at the time when they heard someone enter shortly before 3:30 a.m.
Officer Engle says the juveniles told police the person was wearing all black and a mask.
They said the man cut one of the juveniles with a knife and that's when one of the teens shot at the suspect.
The suspect then took off through a back door.
Police say they are not sure if the suspect was injured by the shot.
The only description the juveniles gave of the man was that he was very tall, around 6 foot 3 inches.
Police say the juvenile's cut was superficial and that he did not need any medical attention.
The mother of one of the victim's was at work at the time of the incident and has just been notified.
Police say they are continuing to investigate.
