LOWER SWATARA, TWP- Police arrest a 30-year-old Steelton man for attempting to have sex with a 14-year-old girl.
A Lower Swatara police detective posing as a 14-year-old girl engaged in a text message conversation with Michal Mulligan, 30, of Steelton, for several days.
During the conversations, Mulligan asked the girl to engaged in numerous sex acts police said.
On Tuesday, Mulligan traveled and attempted to meet and pick up the girl for sex. He was met by the detective instead and arrested.
Mulligan is now charged with criminal attempt and solicitation for involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, criminal attempt and solicitation for sexual assault statutory rape, disseminating sexual materials to a minor, unlawful contact with a minor.
