HARRISBURG, Pa.–Only seven days into the New Year and Harrisburg Police are investigating the city’s second fatal shooting in 2016.
The latest shooting happened Thursday morning at South 15th and Berryhill Streets.
Authorities say a man in his 30’s was shot around 9:30 a.m. The unidentified man was taken to a local hospital and later died, according to Joyce Davis, communications director for City of Harrisburg.
Witnesses told investigators they spotted a SUV driving away from the scene.
So far, no word on any arrests.
