ANOTHER COLD BURST: Another cold push of arctic air moves in early next week. The first comes through by Monday morning, bringing morning lows down into the 20s. Skies are partly cloudy, with more sun during the afternoon hours. Temperatures are in the upper 20s to near the freezing mark. It’s breezy too, and this makes wind chill values feel like the 20s. Tuesday’s skies are mostly cloudy as a weak clipper system approaches, and temperatures are a couple degrees milder. Some late day and evening flurries are possible, lasting through the night. No significant accumulations are expected at this time.
ROUND 2 OF COLD: The second burst of arctic air rolls through Wednesday, and this keeps temperatures in the 20s. Skies are mostly cloudy, with some flurries still possible. Thursday and Friday are partly cloudy. Highs slowly moderate to seasonable averages. Saturday skies are still dry. It’s a seasonable day with partly cloudy skies.
