YORK COUNTY, Pa.–A 73-year-old man was killed after being struck by a pickup truck on Friday morning, according to the York County Coroner’s office.
The accident happened shortly before 11:30 a.m. along the 5100 block of Harmony Grove Road in Dover Township.
Police say Glenn Shellenberger was pushing a snowblower in the road when he was hit by a westbound pickup truck. He was rushed to York Hospital where he died at about 12:20 pm Friday.
The 18-year-old driver of the pickup truck was not injured, police said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.
Northern York County Regional Police are investigating the accident.
