LITITZ, Pa. - It is time for the annual Fire and Ice Festival in Lititz. The event is free and features over 50 ice carvings created by DiMartino Ice Company. The carvings are located in Lititz Springs Park and throughout downtown. The family friendly event is ran by the LEO Club, a branch of the Lions Club. As per their website,  the  LEO Club,"provides the youth of the world an opportunity for the development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national, and international community."

Thousands of people will enjoy the event throughout the weekend, but it will be cold.

"We got hats and gloves and long johns under the jeans so, we are good to go," said attendee Brett Engroff.

He feels the weather is better than it has been in the past. At least this year it is less windy and there is no rain.

"It is what it is. It is February, but after a little while it doesn't feel as cold," said event coordinator Dawn Rissmiller.

There is plenty of food to warm people up.  At Piper Belle's BBQ they have a few items specifically made to keep people toasty.

"We have warm bread pudding with a walnut caramel sauce. All our meats are nice and warm and we keep our ciabatta rolls warm too," said owner and chef, Dave Shirey.

The boy scouts are offering free marshmallows near the stage.
