LANCASTER, Pa.–A former firefighter plead guilty Wednesday in Lancaster County Court to sexually abusing five girls, dating back to 1997, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s office.

Stanley K. Todd, 29, plead guilty to numerous counts of sex abuse and will serve 10 to 20 years in state prison., prosecutors said.

Todd, standing before Lancaster County Judge David Ashworth, apologized to the victims, saying he hopes to “correct” himself in state prison.

Only one of his victim’s appeared in court. She addressed Judge Ashworth, saying the abuse, in 2008 and 2009, affects her marriage and she hasn’t been able to keep a job.

Todd, of Millwood Road, must register his whereabouts with state police, under Megan’s Law, for the rest of his life.

Todd was a juvenile when some of the illegal conduct happened; the victims were all under 18.

Todd was formerly a member of West Willow Fire Company. Anthony Todd, formerly a high-rank official at the department, is charged with not reporting some of the abuse, which he allegedly had knowledge of. His case is pending.
