LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. – The Lancaster County Coroner confirms that a body has been found in the Susquehanna River near the Safe Harbor Dam, in Manor Township, Lancaster County.
The body was discovered near the dam’s spillway. The body was recovered and an autopsy will take place later this week.
A spokesperson with Safe Harbor Water Power Corporation says employees doing routine walk-throughs saw debris in the water and called police.
Safe Harbor Water Power Corporation has dealt with finding a body in the water before.
