DAMP WITH COOLING: Another system dropping down from the north brings more shower chances through the end of the week. St. Patrick’s Day starts with some sunshine and patchy areas of fog, and then skies turn partly sunny. A few passing showers are likely through the afternoon hours, so it’s yet another day where the umbrella is needed. It's a breezy day as well. Afternoon high temperatures are still above seasonable averages, in the middle to upper 50s on Thursday. Friday brings a fair amount of afternoon clouds as yet another weak system pushes through. It brings a few light shower chances too, mainly to the northern most parts of the region. Highs are near 50 degrees.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Skies dry out for Saturday, with plenty of sunshine finally returning! It’s a bit on the chilly side, however, with readings in the middle to upper 40s. The sunshine is brief, however. A chilly rain is expected for Sunday as a system tracks close to the coast. Some mixing could take place, but it’s too early to decipher specifics. It’s even chillier, with readings near 40 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Monday the clouds hang around, and a shower is still possible. Readings are a touch milder, in the lower to middle 40s. Tuesday brings partly cloudy skies. Temperatures are in the middle 40s. Wednesday brings some more sunshine, but a shower can’t be completely ruled out. Expect warmer temperatures, with readings approaching 60 degrees.

Have a great Thursday!
