YORK COUNTY: Northern York County Regional Police charge six people following a prostitution sweep over the weekend in Manchester Township. All the arrests occurred Friday in or near motels along the Route 30 corridor.
Those arrested:
- Dong Chen, 48 of “No Fixed Address”, charged with one count of Prostitution. She is currently being held on $500,000.00 bail at the York County Prison
- Barry Schiff, 49 of Blackwood, New Jersey, is charged with Promoting Prostitution, Trafficking in individuals, and Involuntary Servitude. Schiff was arraigned and held on $100,000.00 bail.
Police are withholding the names of four suspects whose charges are pending:
- A 22 year old female from Dushore, Sullivan County, will be charged with one count of Prostitution.
- A 26 year old female from Carlisle, will be charged with one count of Prostitution.
- A 22 year old Harrisburg male will be charged with Possession of Marijuana
- A 26 year old Silver Spring, Maryland, male will be charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Cocaine
