MIDDLE PAXTON TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Pennsylvania State Police have identified the body of a man found in the Susquehanna River in Middle Paxton Township on Thursday morning.
Two fishermen found the body of 33-year-old Matthew Scott Stoner near some rocks in the river around 10 a.m., according to state police reports.
Stoner had been reported missing out of Lycoming County. Police said Stoner was last seen leaving a nightclub in Williamsport on Feb. 7.
The Susquehanna River Rescue and the Dauphin County Coroner’s office assisted in the investigation.
So far, no word on what caused Stoner’s death.
