WEST MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Mickey, one of two Yorkshire Terriers, who was  stolen in West Manchester Township last month has been found and reunited with his owner.

Tasha, the female terrier, is still missing and has not been recovered.

Mickey and Tasha were stolen from their owner’s yard along Shenney Lane in West Manchester Township on March 29. The dogs were in an outside kennel when they were taken by two men.

On Friday, a concerned citizen who lives in York City brought Mickey to the West Manchester Township Police Department. The woman told police she was approached by  man on April 1 in the area of Queen and Princess Street. The man asked if she was interested in buying a dog, which she did.

Later on, the woman invited a friend over to look at her new dog. When her friend saw the terrier, she exclaimed she thought it looked like one of the stolen dogs from West Manchester Township that was reported by the media.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, in his 30s with a buzz cut. He was driving a white or light grey pickup truck, which had a few lawn mowers in the bed of it.

Mickey appears to be in good health and had been recently clipped.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Manchester Township Police at 717-792-9514.
