HANOVER, Pa- Police in Hanover are looking for a male suspect who shot a woman during an armed robbery at Rutter’s Saturday morning in York County.
According to police, just after 4:00 a.m. a male with a light complection entered the Rutter’s convenience store located at 661 Broadway street in Hanover Borough.
The suspect demanded money from the cashier before pulling a handgun out and shooting. The cashier, a 54-year-old woman, was shot in the leg.
After the suspect got a hold of an undisclosed amount of cash, he ran off through the front doors running towards Broadway, police said.
The victim was transported to York Hospital with a non life threatening injury.
Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous!

Rutter’s has announced a $10,000.00 reward for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
