SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. – A Frackville area man is behind bars on sexual assault charges involving a 13 year old girl. Michael S. Catherman, 56, was taken into custody Tuesday by Pennsylvania State Police. He is accused of forcing the juvenile to have sex with him numerous times. The alleged assaults began in December 2015 at Catherman’s West Mahanoy Township home.
Charges include Rape, Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Sexual Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Corruption of Minors and Indecent Assault.
Following arraignment Catherman was sent to Schuylkill County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.
