CARLISLE, Pa. – The suspect wanted in a weekend shooting in Carlisle is in custody. Chad Stanback, 43, was wanted on an Attempted Homicide charge in a 5 a.m. Sunday shooting in the 1300 block of North Pitt Street. One person was hospitalized with a non life threatening wound.
Stanback surrendered to police at a local District Justice’s office. Additional charges against Stanback include Aggravated Assault, Burglary and Person not to Possess a Firearm.
Following a late afternoon arraignment, Stanback was sent to Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.
