LANCASTER, Pa.– A Gordonville woman could serve up to 5 years in prison for her latest DUI, which is her 7th DUI conviction since 1989.

Susan Fahr, 54, had her latest DUI last summer in Quarryville, when she had a blood-alcohol level of .199 percent, more than twice the state’s legal limit.

Fahr pleaded guilty to misdemeanor DUI and was sentenced last week by Lancaster County Judge Jeffery Wright to 17 months to 5 years in state prison.

At her sentencing, Assistant District Attorney Julie Slabinski called Fahr a danger, saying the repercussions of intoxicated driving are seen constantly in Lancaster County Court and a hard stance against DUI is necessary.

Judge Wright ordered a sentence at the high end of state guidelines, which includes a $1,500 fine, license suspension, required classes and treatment, and a ban from alcohol during supervision.

Fahr has previously served a state-prison term for DUI, ordered in 2009.
