DERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa.– The Hershey Bears are moving on to the Eastern Conference Finals, after beating their biggest rival on Sunday night.
The Bears won the final game of the series versus Wilkes Barre/Scranton, 3-2 in overtime. Travis Boyd scored the game winning goal at Giant Center.
The chocolate and white will face the winner of the series between Albany and Toronto. Those teams play game 7 in their match up Monday night in Toronto.
7,800 fans filled GIANT Center on Sunday night and were treated to another nail biter victory.
