DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa.– A crash involving a tractor-trailer has closed part of I-81 SB.
The incident reportedly occurred around 6:45 a.m. at mile marker 79. Currently, the Interstate has been closed between Exit 80 near Manada Hill, and Exit 77 near Linglestown.
Drivers traveling southbound are able to get off the highway at Exit 80, and follow Route 743 to Route 22 to Route 39 to get around the incident and back onto I-81 SB. Delays are expected to be significant.
The tractor-trailer was on fire, and caused the other vehicle to spark, but firefighters were able to cease the blaze.
It is unknown if there are any injuries, and state police are investigating the crash.
