UPDATE: Friday night’s murder suspect, Lucas Newnam, has been captured Saturday afternoon.

According to State police, Newnam was captured without incident and is in state police custody.

State police are currently investigating the Friday night shooting as a homicide and the investigation is still ongoing.

State Police were assisted at the scene by Christiania PD, West Fallowfield PD, Chester County Fire Station 27 Cochranville, Christiana Fire Police and Bart Fire Police.

SADSBURY TWP, Lancaster County, Christiana, Pa- State police are on the hunt for a man who allegedly murdered another man Friday night.

According to police, the shooting took place just after 6:00 p.m. Friday at 304 Creek Road in Christiana borough.

When troopers arrived they found 26-year-old Julius Dale shot dead.  State police believe 30-year-old Lucas Newman shot Dale during an argument before feeling the scene.

Newman has not been located and should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
