TRACKING THUNDERSTORMS: This afternoon, a broken line of thunderstorms crossed over us. The spots that saw a thunderstorm got heavy rain. This evening, we’ll have fewer thunderstorms than what we saw from 12-3 P.M. These evening hit-or-miss storms will bring a brief burst of very heavy rain if you get it, some gusty winds, and lightning. Track these storms with our interactive radar here. The storms will end between 8 and 10 P.M. Then, the skies clear tonight as we drop to 70.
LESS HUMID: We get a well-deserved break from the humidity and 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Look for 88 on Tuesday and 84 on Wednesday. Enjoy very sunny skies both days, too.
MORE HUMID: We get humid again on Thursday, and then we get very humid for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In fact, those days will feel miserable with the combination of humidity and highs in the mid 90s. We ease our way into that heat wave with a high of 90 on Thursday.
MORE THUNDERSTORMS: We’ll get a few hit-or-miss thunderstorms Friday and Saturday afternoons to get a break from watering the plants. However, most of us stay dry those afternoon. We got a better shot at getting a free watering on Sunday. On Sunday afternoon, we’ll get scattered thunderstorms as a cold front arrives. The cold front lets us remove some–not all–of the humidity for Monday and lets us drop of the 90s.
