Tropical Storm Hermine formed Wednesday afternoon in the Gulf of Mexico, according to CNN.
The storm is headed toward Florida. And, forecasters said it could even become a hurricane before landfall Thursday night, or early Friday morning.
A hurricane watch is in effect from Tarpon Springs to Apalachicola. Heavy rain, strong winds, tornadoes and coastal flooding are all possible with this system.
