WARWICK TOWNSHIP, Pa.–Two people were arrested Wednesday after they tried to flee from police following a purse-snatching in Lancaster County.
Police responded to the Shoppes at Kissel Hill after one of the suspects stole a purse from a woman while she was walking to her car in the parking lot, according to Northern Lancaster County Regional Police reports.
The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle which prompted a police chase involving multiple police jurisdictions, investigators said.
The pair was apprehended after crashing near the Ephrata Exit at the Route 222/322 interchange around 12:30 p.m.
Police said the pair were wanted for recent purse-snatchings throughout Lancaster County.
