SUSQUEHANNA TOWNSHIP, DAUPHIN COUNTY–Police have identified the man who was killed Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Susquehanna Township.

According to police reports, Willard Smith died after his vehicle went off a cliff along the 1900 block of Clayton Avenue around 11:22 a.m.

Investigators say Smith, of Harrisburg, failed to stop at the end of the roadway and went off a steep embankment. Smith was ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dauphin County Coroner’s office.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call police at 717-652-8265.

The Dauphin County Coroner’s office has responded to a deadly crash in Susquehanna Township.

It happened around 11:30 a.m. Friday along the 1800 block of Clayton Avenue.

Investigators at the scene tell FOX43 News that vehicle went off the road and down an embankment.

No other information was immediately available.
