Robert Jones, who was shot multiple times when he was parked in a car Saturday on the 2100 block of N. 4th Street in Harrisburg, has died.
The 24-year-old was immediately taken into surgery after Harrisburg Police responded to Harrisburg Hospital for a shooting victim brought in by private vehicle, according to a police report. Jones was expected to survive his injuries, but later died during surgery due to complications. He died Sunday morning.
A crime scene was processed for evidence. Jones, originally from Chicago, Illinois, had only been living in Harrisburg for a few weeks, police reported.

Dauphin County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest in this incident.
Jones’ death marks Harrisburg’s 13th homicide.
