HARRISBURG, Pa — A York man is indicted by a federal grand jury on drug trafficking charges. Jeff Smith, 29, of York, was indicted on November 9, 2016, for allegedly possessing over 280 grams of crack cocaine from 2014 through his arrest on October 5, 2016. The distribution of 280 grams or more of crack cocaine carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison. He is also charged with intent to distribute.
Smith could face lifetime imprisonment if convicted.
