PHILADELPHIA, Pa.– Every young sports fan wants to be able to talk to their heroes.
Often, children write letters to their favorite athletes, holding onto the hope that they get a response from their idols.
Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback, Carson Wentz, did his part to make one young fan’s dream come true.
On Twitter, a grandmother tweeted at Wentz with four pictures of a letter her grandson had wrote, which included multiple questions for the young Eagles’ star. Some of these questions included asking what Wentz’s favorite color is, if he likes Philadelphia cheese steaks, and who Wentz’s favorite player is.
Upon seeing the tweet, Wentz answered the boys questions in a tweet of his own.
This is just another way social media is impacting our world, and bringing young fans closer to their heroes.
