LANCASTER, Pa — A man is in critical condition after being shot in Lancaster Sunday morning.
According to Lancaster City Bureau of Police, they were dispatched to the scene of a reported shooting at the 100 block of Dauphin Street in Lancaster City around 11:46 a.m.. One man, was lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso, and a head injury. The man was rushed to the hospital and is suffering from potentially life threatening injuries.
Police immediately called investigators and secured the crime scene. Witness interviews are being conducted and investigators are also checking cameras in the surrounding areas. Early information suggests that there may have been a verbal argument between the suspect and victim.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s, driving a gray sedan, and was last seen traveling West on Dauphin County.
