PENNSYLVANIA, USA — WEEKEND OUTLOOOK: Winds increase on Saturday so tack down any loose objects or outdoor furniture. Gust speeds may hit 30 mph or more through the afternoon out of the north and west. The wind speed and direction will usher in lake enhanced clouds and the chance for spotty flurries or sprinkles. Accumulation is not expected locally, but don't be surprised to see a few flakes fly! Through the afternoon highs will rise to seasonal levels, hovering around the lower 50s. Sunday the breeze will hold for a little while longer, with gusts of 20 to 25 mph possible. More afternoon sunshine may be possible though as the winds gradually decrease. After starting in the lower 40s, highs should rise back to the lower 50s later that afternoon.
MILD EARLY WEEK: We start the week off on a mild note, with highs on Monday rising to the upper 50s through the afternoon! High pressure briefly wedges in to bring us a mainly dry day with clouds, but later that evening another system will shake things up by bringing our counties a few showers. This chance will linger into Tuesday morning with the mild trend holding on as temperatures by the morning are still in the upper 40s. Winds pick up Tuesday afternoon with afternoon sunshine and clouds. Temperatures also won't be as warm, but should still rise to the lower and middle 50s. Wednesday should be a quiet day overall for travel. Temperatures to start will be right around freezing, with highs expected to rise to the upper 40s. After that though things are going to get interesting by the late week. Temperatures will be much cooler for Turkey Day and Black Friday as another system makes a play for the state. This system may bring a chance of rain, wintry mix, and snow, that will linger into the end of the week. There is still a lot to watch, so stay with us for the latest holiday outlook on air and online!
