CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. — A portion of Interstate 81 in Cumberland County is closed Wednesday morning as crews work to clean up following a crash involving a tractor-trailer.
The initial crash happened around 12:45 a.m. when a tractor-trailer went off the road in the southbound lanes of I-81 near EXIT 52 in Middlesex Township, according to PennDOT spokeswoman Fritzi Schreffler.
The driver sustained minor injuries, Schreffler said.
Crews continue to clean up the cargo and diesel fuel that spilled from the tractor-trailer.
Investigators estimate the southbound lanes should reopen around 9 a.m.
